Great grandparents and their great grandkids

I have recently been more proactive taking pictures of everything I do or am a part of. I think I am driving my family and friends crazy. As I age I am more aware of how fast life goes, the things I think I remember fade, and somethings I only remember after being reminded. A few months ago I saw some photos that a very talented young lady, Emily Walton, took. They were wonderful, and made me cry. Every since I have been trying to get pictures with my parents and my grandkids. These are some of most special people in my life. My parents, who had to go through the challenge of raising me and loving me inspite of the problems and worry I caused and my grandkids, who give me hope that even though I wasn't a good parent, their parents are wonderful. I wish I could have been more like my mom and dad or even more like my daughters. They are AWESOME. Wiley loves tractors, makes Grandpa proud and provides enjoyment for all the kids
My wonderful and loving Dad...love you more than I could very show you dad.

My wonderful and caring mom, with my wonderful and caring daughter, Ruby.

Wiley and 'the tractor' he loves any and all tractors

Em with little brother, Maddox.

We took most of the pictures at my grandpa Stembridge's. So this would great-great grandpa for my grandkids. There is the most amazing barn......the kids LOVED IT

Riding in the back of Great grandpa's Rhino, they had a blast

The 'other side of the camera' was fun to watch, the moms tried really hard to get their kids to smile or sit still.

Isn't this one of the cutest pictures you ever saw???!?

Emily was great with the little ones and the big ones.
Thanks Emily.......

All of these are pictures I took while Emily was busy creating her magic. I see the pictures she took and am so glad she has the remarkable talent to capture the spirit in her pictures. I will treasure the day's memories forever. Thanks Emily.........you create magic and precious memories.

Busy times

So many things have happened, and I have been a slacker so here are some of the highlights of the fun times, Cam and Emma's birthdays, Cam's baptism, Maddox's blessing. I realize I could type tons of stuff about how much fun these days were but if I wait for the time to do that I would never get around to it. so enjoy the pictures.
Cam trying out his nerf birthday present.

This was an awesome cake, it took a bunch of them to blow out the candles!
Emma really does love little brother, this time he was interfering with Emma's Birthday presents!

An awesome princess cake for the princess, the other princess loved it also.

These are the orginal princesses, I did not spend the time with them that I should have, they are wonderful kids, sisters, parents, and wives. I am so proud of all of them and so glad that they call me mom!

More Labor day

After the play day with the young grandkids, I had a sleepover with the older boys. It was a blast, I did not get many pictures due to me playing baseball with the boys. Poor Jayce had me on his team. Paul thought it was quite entertaining watching the grandma try to hit the ball while all the boys were telling me what to do. Tasia even got roped into pitching for a while. The next day (Saturday) we took Braxton to his football game, enjoy the pictures.Jayce and Cameron keeping busy during Braxton's football game.

Braxton during a timeout, Jayce and Cameron (on the left) were waiting to encourage him.
Brax is awesome of course.

Labor Day Weekend

They love to play with an owl that is suppose to scare away the birds, the kids don't care they treat it as a doll.

Friday before Labor Day I had a play day with the young grandkids, they were so much fun! I love this picture of them holding hands to go on our walk through the field. They love to play with each other and if I have one that grandkid always ask about the other ones.

More Lodge

Wiley loved all the babies, but with baby Maddox he would pet his tummy and tell his mom 'this is nice baby, I take this one home?' He was adorable with all three of the babies. Tasia and Ambria made bracelets for all the kids, Cam is trying to learn and did tie one.

Jayce and Cam played chess while Braxton rested, Braxton had just played his first football game of the season.

The lodge utilized massive logs in the decor and construction, it was amazing, here the kids are trying to get into one of them.

Poor Jayce must not have realized that we were spending the weekend with Tyler, Ambria and the babies (twins) imagine his surprise when a few hours into the evening he notice two babies. He also did not realize the word twins means 'two'. Tanya and I had a WONDERFUL time with three precious little babies. Thanks Ambria and Tasia for sharing.

More about the lodge

So one of the activities at the lodge was target practice with 22's. All the boys, big and little took a turn. Not sure who did the best, I was not looking at the targets.

On Sunday morning Braxton and Cameron were up before anyone else, and went fishing. I went with them to take pictures and because I worry. They really tried to explain the art of fishing to me. After a while they just fished and asked if I got a good picture of the big fish.
Jay and Curtis came up to spend 'family' time. Good thing, they were great with the fishing thing. Jay is helping his little buddy Wiley and Curtis is just realizing his picture is being taken. They left early on Sunday, not sure if it was because of the kids or the camera in their face ;-)
They were great sports. love ya both

Cam and Jayce looking the pond over to see if there were fish.
